A public test of the tabulation equipment to be used for the November 5 General Election will be conducted on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10am. The test will be conducted at the Lawrence County Courthouse in the office of the Lawrence County Clerk at 1100 State Street, Lawrenceville, IL 62439, and any members of the public are welcome to attend.
The 2024 General Election, slated for November 5, 2024, will be held at specified polling locations throughout the county. A sample ballot and a list of the polling locations is included in this link. Polling locations will be open for voting from 6am to 7pm on election day, November 5. Early voting will be conducted at the Lawrence County Courthouse every weekday (Monday-Friday) during the month of October from 8am to 4pm in the office of Lawrence County Clerk Will C. Gibson. On Saturday, November 2, the clerk's office will be open for early voting from 9am to Noon. The county clerk's office can be reached at (618) 943-2346 for any questions pertinent to the election.
