A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for the County of Lawrence for 2025 will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 3:45pm at the Lawrence County Courthouse in Lawrenceville. Any person(s) who desires to appear at the public hearing and present testimony to the taxing district may contact County Clerk Will C. Gibson at (618) 943-2346.
The State Board of Elections has published a notice so that the public can be aware that an election is scheduled (March 17, 2026) and what offices are slated to be contested. Any interested persons who might be seeking election should review the information so they can begin the process of circulating nominating petitions for the appropriate offices.
